Medical Director
Dr. Kari Rollins is the Medical Director of Integrative Wellness Fx. She combines her background in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurvedic Medicine, Yoga, and Osteopathic Medicine with cutting-edge technology to diagnose and treat digestive, immune, hormonal, and genetic problems as well as perform detoxification testing and dark field microscopy. With an integrative and holistic approach, she recognizes there are often multiple causes for an illness and there are likewise many ways to begin healing.
Dr. Rollins has a wide range of specialties, allowing her to provide care that doesn’t focus on just the treatment of symptoms, but on finding and addressing the root of the problem. She has extensively studied and practiced two of the oldest traditions in medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurvedic Medicine, and has an extensive background in Yoga and Osteopathic Medicine. She can treat back and joint pain and teach patients how to use proper breathing techniques to reduce stress on the cardiovascular and nervous systems. By incorporating her knowledge of nutritional and herbal medicine, Dr. Rollins can address health problems with a truly integrated approach.
About Dr. Kari Rollins
A Dedicated Physician and Healer
Dr. Rollins began practicing yoga at the age of 10; she also became a vegetarian at the age of 17, and then pursued a career in medicine. Impressive graduate credentials include Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude from Kansas State University and cum laude from the University of North Texas Health Science Center.
Following her internship, Dr. Rollins’s interest in preventive medicine led her back to the University of North Texas Health Science Center where she researched, developed, and taught programs in preventive medicine and wellness to medical students.
Dr. Rollins’s desire to make such programs available to the general public inspired her to establish a wellness center in 1986, and she joined Integrative Wellness Fx in 2020 as the Medical Director. Although Dr. Rollins does not see patients at Integrative Wellness FX, she oversees the patient care and for the past 30 years, Dr. Rollins has developed the staff and services at the centers to provide a comprehensive approach to the treatment of illness and promotion of health.
